Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche
His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche was recognized as the 12th incarnation in the Gharwang lineage by the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa. Rinpoche received many transmissions from the 16th Karmapa and many other illustrious teachers including the late Kaly Rinpoche, the late Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, the late Tulku Ugyen, and the late Khenchen Pema Pedtse Rinpoche. He also studied under the guidance of renowned Buddhist scholars such as Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso, as well as Khenchen Chodak Tenphel. Rinpoche graduated at the top of his class at Nalanda Buddhist Institute in 1991. He began his teaching career while still a student at the Nalanda Institute and since 1987 has taught extensively in Europe, America and Asia. Online registration using a secure PayPal payment system is now open for the weekend teaching "Right Attitude, Right Conduct: Practice in Daily Life" and the Medicine Buddha empowerment with Gharwang Rinpoche.

Weekend and Saturday tickets include the empowerment; a separate ticket for the empowerment is NOT needed if purchasing weekend or Saturday tickets.

Empowerment Only tickets are for the Saturday afternoon session, 2:30 - 4:00. Please arrive early as the empowerment may begin promptly at 2:30 when Rinpoche returns from lunch break.

Registration by Mail
If you are unable to register online, please mail your check, payable to Kunzang Palchen Ling, to the post office box below. On the memo line of your check please write  "registration Gharwong Rinpoche, 4/21." Please include a note listing the names of all participants and contact information  (phone number and email address), or email registration@kunzang.org with your information.

Refund Policy

In the event of your cancelation, we offer an 80% refund. In order to receive the refund, you must inform us about the cancellation at least 24 hours before the event starts.

If the event is canceled by KPL, we will offer a 100% refund.
